The Service Representative will ask you some questions while you are on the phone about the Existing Water Heater, such as:
- Is it Gas Or Electric ?
- If it is gas, is it vented from the top or does it vent out the side of the house?
- What is the location of the Existing Water Heater in the home?
- Number of Bathrooms in home?
- What is the Model and Serial Number From your Existing Unit? [This information will allow us to know which comparable unit to bring for replacement. It is a good idea to have this information, if possible before you place the call. - In the event that the existing water heater information can not be determined, a Technician may be dispatched to your home for confirmation of information.
Once the Service Representative has gathered all the appropriate information, an Appointment will be scheduled. We offer a “Key Pick up Service”, and can come to your office in the local area to get the key required for access from you.
We will provide a 1-2 hour window for Arrival of our Technician. All of our Technicians are Factory Trained. Our Uniformed Technician will arrive in the Fully Stocked WATER HEATER XPRESS truck, with all the materials required for Service. If the Technician is running late, you will receive a courtesy call to let you know the status.
Once the Technician Arrives, they will make an initial inspection of the existing Water Heater, to ensure that all conditions are as required for the installation of the new Water Heater.
A Typical Installation will take 2-4 hours, depending on the Factors such as accessibility to the Water Heater, or whether it is Gas or Electric.
In the event you have chosen the “Key pick up” Service, the keys will be returned to your office along with the warranty paperwork, and invoice to process for payment at that time.
