What You can Expect at Time of Service:
 When you place the Call for Service, if you call before 12 Noon, we will be able to schedule your Appointment on the same day.
The Service Representative will ask you some questions while you are on the phone about your Existing Water Heater, such as:
- Is it Gas Or Electric ?
- If it is gas, is it vented from the top or does it vent out the side of the house?
- What is the location of the Existing Water Heater in the home?
- Number of Bathrooms in home?
- Are you calling due to desired or Required Upgrades?
- What is the Model and Serial Number From your Existing Unit? [This information will allow us to know which comparable unit to bring for replacement. It is a good idea to have this information, if possible before you place the call. This will allow WATER HEATER XPRESS to respond more Rapidly] See FAQ’s for where to find the Model and Serial Number on your Tank.
In the event that the existing water heater information can not be determined, a Technician may be dispatched to your home for confirmation of information.
Once the Service Representative has gathered all the appropriate information, an Appointment will be scheduled.
We will provide a 1-2 hour window for Arrival of our Technician. All of our Technicians are Factory Trained. Our Uniformed Technician will arrive in the Fully Stocked WATER HEATER XPRESS truck, with all the materials required for Service. If the Technician is running late, you will receive a courtesy call to let you know the status.
Once the Technician Arrives, they will make an initial inspection of the existing Water Heater, to ensure that all conditions are as required for the installation of the new Water Heater.
A Typical Installation will take 2-4 hours, depending on the Factors such as accessibility to the Water Heater, or whether it is Gas or Electric.
Upon Completion, the old Water heater unit will be hauled away at this time.
You will be given an overview of the installation, and be given the warranty paperwork and the invoice to be processed for payment upon completion of the service call.
The old unit will be hauled away for disposal at the completion of service.
Water Heater Xpress will register your New Water Heater with the Manufacturer so that the upgraded 10 year warranty that is provided through Water Heater Xpress is documented with the manufacturer. You will receive copies of the warranty documents at the time of installation, and the registration paperwork will follow in the mail in 7-10 days.
